GEDUNG SATE, BANDUNG Gedung Sate is a landmark building of Bandung. This building was constructed 97 years ago on 27th of July. The architecture of Gedung Sate is a work of Ir. J. Gerber and around 2.000 people were involved in this construction. After four years in September 1924, the construction is finished. Maybe you are curious why is it look like a satay? Well actually the satay's stick and 6 ornaments on the top of Gedung Satay is mean the time of the construction, Dutch Government took 6 million guldier (gulden). Of course every building has their own function, for now the main function of Gedung Sate is head office for West Java government but because its popularity, this building also became a tourist attraction. In conclusion, Gedung Sate is one of Indonesia's important building and also historical.
