Important Building in Indonesia

GEDUNG SATE, BANDUNG




Gedung Sate is a landmark building of Bandung. This building was constructed 97 years ago on 27th of July. The architecture of Gedung Sate is a work of Ir. J. Gerber and around 2.000 people were involved in this construction. After four years in September 1924, the construction is finished. Maybe you are curious why is it look like a satay?  Well actually the satay's stick and 6 ornaments on the top of Gedung Satay is mean the time of the construction, Dutch Government took 6 million guldier (gulden). Of course every building has their own function, for now the main function of Gedung Sate is head office for West Java government but because its popularity, this building also became a tourist attraction. In conclusion, Gedung Sate is one of Indonesia's important building and also historical.

    hi pingky! it is a nice post there. for me, since at this post you mentioned things such as the history of this building and the explanation of the top of this building , i think that you should focus in one of them and continue it by using either chronological logic ( if you choose the history) or spatial logic ( if you choose the top of the building ) therefore your paragraph will have a better coherence . nice post

    hello, it is a good paragraph i think. i think on the 6th sentence u could add a cohesion device like "... on the top of this building means the time....." other than that, it's nice i think

    Gedung Sate is a landmark building of Bandung that located at Jl. Diponegoro No. 22. This building was constructed 97 years ago on 27th of July. The architecture of Gedung Sate is a work of Ir. J. Gerber, Eh. De Roo, and G. Hendriks. Around 2.000 people were involved in this construction. After four years in September 1924, the construction is finished.D. Ruhl mentioned Gedung Sate is the most beautiful building in Indonesia in the book Bandoeng en haar Hoogvlakte from 1952. Of course every building has their own function, for now the main function of Gedung Sate is head office for West Java government but because its popularity, this building also became a tourist attraction. In conclusion, Gedung Sate is one of Indonesia's important building and also historical.
